After graduating law school, Matthew spent 15 years as in-house counsel for IBM and then Deloitte. He has been consistently responsible for leading negotiations for large transactions for the provision of a variety of of technology and business services. He has served as an advisor and consultant for a variety of business concerns in a wide swath of business areas and industries.

Matthew Talley was born in England to parents in the United States Air Force. Since then, he has lived in Idaho, Guam, South Dakota, Illinois, Hawaii, Michigan, and Connecticut before settling in North Carolina, where he lives with his spouse and two cats. Matthew enjoys international travel and spent a semester abroad in Thailand. In his free time, Matthew can be found playing overly-complicated board games, going to shows, and enjoying nature.
